Basic components of the service solution

Some of the features provided in the solution:

  1. Templating: when creating a new SharePoint site, templates of commonly used documents are automatically provided.
  2. Flows: it is possible to provide approval flows.
  3. Document storage: documents can be created in SharePoint itself, but can also be automatically forwarded from Business Central to the correct library in SharePoint*.
  4. Merging documents: our solution provides the option to very easily create 'composite documents' (in PDF format) - such as technical sheets - and provide them with a cover page, in which customer/project information is automatically added. included.
  5. Structured file name: documents that are uploaded into SharePoint or sent to SharePoint via Business Central, we can automatically give a structured file name (e.g. project number_customer_type of document)
  6. Version management: the 'evolution' of documents in SharePoint can always be monitored via version management. This allows you to view previous versions of a document and even restore a document to a previous version (while preserving all other versions).
  7. External sharing: documents can be shared with others in various ways. You create a separate folder that is shared with the external party via an anonymous link. Documents can be shared in this folder.

* By using a web service, data can also be forwarded to SharePoint from many other applications / systems.
